As we cling on to the last days of summer, here's some green to keep things lush and summery.
We love a tile with different shades and this mosaic tile gives you four colors to play with.
Pro Tip: Mosaic tiles work great for kitchen backsplashes but can also be used for shower floors; the increase in grout lines lessens the chance for slipping.
Braided rugs can be retro and even stodgy but this one, with it's mix of colors, adds a modern flair.
Pro Tip: Be sure to get a rug in a size that matches your space; it doesn't need to go fully under all the furniture but should at least tuck under the front legs.
Pale green is a great option for a bedroom or bathroom where you are looking for tranquility.
Pro Tip: Paint manufacturers not only have sample sizes but some have peel and stick samples; make sure you're putting samples up in the room the paint will be used so the lighting is accurate.
Traditional doesn't have to mean boring; this table lamp might seem run-of-the-mill but the shape of the base and colors create interest.
Pro Tip: If you're looking to get really far away from traditional, use mix-and-match table lamps; different styles in the same color.
We love adding whimsy to a space and this wallcovering would certainly do the trick.
Pro Tip: Don't own your place? You can still utilize wallcovering, if you have smooth walls, look for a peel and stick product. Or install on a smooth substrate mounted to the wall.
Platters are a must for serving but an interesting platter also makes great decor.
Pro Tip: Platters take up a lot of storage space. If you don't have a lot to spare, consider donating old platters to rotate in new.
